Nat Cavallini - Vice PresidentNat Cavallini is a Vice President at Jefferson Consulting Group. His primary areas of expertise are in federal acquisition workforce issues, acquisition programs, commercial services management (formerly competitive sourcing) and strategic planning. He provides high-level expertise, advice and assistance to government clients and has significant experience in providing these services to large, complex government organizations.

Mr. Cavallini has been with JCG since 1997 supporting government agencies' acquisition programs, strategic plans and workforce management initiatives, including the Departments of Defense, Commerce, Homeland Security and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He was instrumental in developing Solutions' Workload Comparability Model, developed specifically for government agencies to estimate the number of operational and support staff needed to perform pre-award and post-award acquisition responsibilities.

Prior to joining JCG, he was a professor of Planning, Acquisition Management and National Security Policy at the National Defense University (NDU). From 1985 to 1995, he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence, ASD(C3I), often serving as the ASD(C3I).

Mr. Cavallini received a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Wilkes University and a master's degree in economics/public administration from the University of Rochester.
