Grace DeMaio is Executive Assistant to the President & CEO of Jefferson Consulting Group. Ms. DeMaio joined The Jefferson Group (the predecessor company) in 1994 as Executive Assistant to Julie Susman. Prior to joining The Jefferson Group, Ms. DeMaio was employed for 20 years by the US House of Representatives, Committee on the District of Columbia, as Executive Assistant to the Staff Director.

Trey Kennedy serves as an Assistant Manager at JCG. In this capacity, he performs research activities, monitors legislation, attends Congressional hearings, and conducts opportunity searches for clients.

Prior to joining JCG, Mr. Kennedy interned for Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA) and served as an intern for the Director of the A.K. Smiley Public Library in Redlands, CA.

Mr. Kennedy received a master's degree with distinction in history of international relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a bachelor's degree in government from the University of Redlands.


Maggie Mitchell - Administrative/Research AssistantMaggie Mitchell

Administrative/Research Assistant

Maggie Mitchell currently serves as an administrative and research assistant for two Senior Vice Presidents at JCG. In this capacity, she performs research activities, monitors business opportunities for clients, and oversees administrative functions for both the government and commercial divisions.

Prior to joining JCG, Ms. Mitchell interned for Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) and worked as a field organizer in Minnesota for the Obama presidential campaign.

Ms. Mitchell received a bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University in religion.


Michael Thell - Research AssistantMichael Thell

Research Assistant

Michael Thell serves as a Research Assistant at JCG. Mr. Thell assists clients by monitoring business opportunities, providing analysis of federal agencies, and conducting other research activities. Prior to joining JCG, Mr. Thell was an analyst at FedSources, a leading market intelligence company. Mr. Thell monitored Federal Agency trends, and business opportunities at the Department of the Navy. Mr. Thell received a bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University.
