Lobbyist and former Republican congressional staffer Nathan Butzlaff - who served under Sen. Lisa Murkowski, Rep. Don Young, and former Sen. Ted Stevens - has picked up his second Alaska town as a client. Cordova, Alaska, population 2,251, has retained Butzlaff's Capitol Hill firm Jefferson Consulting Group to seek funding for infrastructure. Butzlaff - an alumnus of Wasilla High School, the alma mater of Gov. Sarah Palin - started lobbying in December to win stimulus funds for Kenai, Ak., population 7,686.
